Out of hours phone changes

We wish to advise you of some changes to the Amicus Out Of Hours phone process.

As you would be aware, Amicus operates an Out Of Hours phone process, which supports critical and emergency service support outside of business hours (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm) and during weekends and on Public Holidays.

These changes have been introduced in order to streamline the Amicus Out Of Hours process and to further support our communication processes as an organisation.

The new number for Out Of Hours support will be (03) 5441 2666, and this will take effect on Monday 24 October 2022 at 5pm. This number is for calls only, not text messages, however the Out Of Hours staff member may call you, then follow up with a text message for a response.

When contacting the new Amicus Out Of Hours and Emergency number, you will hear a recorded message. The recorded message as per below, provides 2 options in order to direct your call appropriately-

“Thank you for calling Amicus. Our office is currently unattended.  If this is an emergency please hang up and call 000. If you are calling for a non-urgent matter please press 1 to leave a message and we will get back to you on the next business day. If you are cancelling a shift with short notice or require urgent support please hold the line”

Please continue to use the Out Of Hours number for critical supports and emergencies only.
