Are you a woman or gender diverse person with disability who uses wheelchair accessible vehicles or Maxi Taxis? Are you able to travel to appointments, work, social engagements or whatever you like, when you like and with the service you like? You are invited to share your experiences by completing the survey.
WDV has created a survey to capture your experience in using taxi services including:
- availability
- waiting time
- call centre experience
- driver behaviour and more.
The survey has been developed by Barwon leadership Hub members over growing concerns that maxi taxi availability is limited, that sedans are sent instead of a wheelchair accessible vehicle, and that people are being left for long periods of time waiting to be picked up creating anxiety and placing women and gender diverse people with disability at risk.
Please take the time to fill out the survey if you have experiences of your own that you would like to share with WDV to assist in gathering information to create change.
