At Amicus, we’re proud to be supporting and participating in Bendigo’s celebrations for International Day of People with Disabilities (IDPWD) — a global movement recognising the achievements, creativity and contributions of people with disability.
This year, Bendigo is turning it on with an epic week of events from 30 November to 7 December, celebrating inclusion through sport, laughter, art, music and connection. Whether you’re there to play, dance, create or simply join the fun, every event is a chance to celebrate what makes our community strong: our diversity and unity.

🍔 Celebrate Every Body Family BBQ

Relax by the lake and enjoy a free family BBQ with face painting, games and sweet treats for all ages. It’s a fun, friendly and inclusive evening celebrating community, connection and togetherness.
😂 Stand Up for Inclusion – Comedy Show

📍 Academy of Creative Arts Theatre, Bendigo South East Secondary College
Get ready for a laugh-out-loud night of comedy that champions inclusion and positivity. With performances by Oliver Hunter, Ben Reid and James Warren, you’re guaranteed big laughs and good vibes all round. Gold-coin donation appreciated. Book here

Wrap up the week surrounded by colour, creativity and community. The RAD Artists Market brings together incredible local artists, musicians and makers for a vibrant finale celebrating art and inclusion in the heart of Bendigo.
